I ran…well, jogged for about a mile and a half…then I walked for another mile or so. This might not sound like much, but I don’t run. In grade school when we did the presidential fitness dealie, It took me about 15 minutes to complete a mile. When I actually finished the mile, that is.
So, I’m a little proud of myself. To make sure I am good and sore tomorrow, I also did a crapload of plies in second position. And 175 crunches. I won’t say how many push-ups, because that number was pitiful. Less than half of what I am normally capable of. (I do mean regular push-ups, not girly push-ups)
Tomorrow, I shall hit the Y…I think I am healed enough to do all my machines. Sadly, I am also canceling my membership while I am there. Due to our change in financial situation, I can’t justify the expense, especially when the weather is getting nice, and I can go for *gasp* runs, and rollerblade, plus I have some great videos to do at home. I figure the money can go toward our debts, including the student loans we’ll be paying on. That and I want to start taking dance lessons again. I can’t afford to do both. So, I will have to enjoy my last days of Y-ing. The only thing I would theoretically miss is the pool. Since I started coloring my hair scarlett, which bleeds in the pool, the pool has lost its appeal.
Wow, I’m getting sleepy, and just managed to write two typo-ridden posts. I think that’s more than enough for anyone to tolerate.
