If it helps, I have a chronic case of after-party self-loathing. I’m always quite certain that everything I said to anyone was not only uninteresting and stupid, but quite inappropriate and probably way too revealing. This condition is always especially bad after New Year’s, as I manage to surprise myself anew, EACH AND EVERY YEAR, by getting roaring drunk after about a drink and a half–well under my usual quota–due to eating next to nothing all day and having a seriously revved-up metabolism fueled by pre-party panic.
So.
I’m pretty much with you all the way.
At any rate, though, I’m very glad you and G came, and although I know I gushed (inappropriately, no doubt) about it at the party, I ADORED the Holly Golightly ensemble. I particularly loved the hair, darling. 🙂
Popular with Preteens, huh? You never told us this. Of course you never mention this, so how could you?

And nqtyd…the popularity with the preteens was discussed in the kitchen at some point. It was enough to spark me into my high-pitched preteen imitation on the way home. Or was that on the way to work? It was somewhere. We’ll be sure to tell you all about it sometime.
